Business Analyst
Typical Day in Role:
• Work with the business to identify gaps and requirements to the current application and work with the development team to implement the changes.
• The incumbent is responsible for providing status to the product manager and project team and escalate issues promptly.
• Participate in the product implementation by developing and documenting test cases, performing integration testing, raising defects, and providing end-user documentation for the product changes.
• Responsible for creating end users’ stories in JIRA or similar product management software to manage the Agile projects.
• The incumbent is an active contributor to designing sustainable DevOps. The Product analyst is required to come up with best practices and procedures.
• Must possess good listening and communication skills to work effectively with end-users and project team members.
• Responsible for working with QAT team to ensure that proper test cases for the requirements are generated.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 3+ years of relevant work in or experience in delivering Technical Products/Business Solutions.
2. 3+ years of experience in conducting business analysis and documenting business requirements for medium to large-size projects.
3. 3+ years of experience creating and executing test cases.
4. 3+ years of experience working with Systems and process knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile) and Project Management.
5. 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with creating user stories and boards within JIRA.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience generating Power BI presentations from scratch and working with other Microsoft Suite products.
• Prior experience in the following Business lines (CB, GBM, IB).
• Project management and Business analysis Certificate.
Soft Skills:

• Being able to work up-down within the organization.
• Excellent written and communication skills to clearly express concepts and ideas.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.
Best vs. Average Candidate:
• The ideal candidate is someone who can thrive in an agile environment, particularly when working on large-scale projects. They should have the ability to generate user stories consistent with the agile methodologies.
• Ability to create test cases and implement them with a QA mindset. The ideal candidate should be capable of testing application using specific scenarios and breaking them down to ensure thorough testing.
• A person who can drive projects in a critical state with tough deadlines and work with different teams. The best candidate must have the ability to push for any deliverable without missing deadlines.
Education:
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required.
