Job Description
The Manager of Corporate and Financial Communications supports the preparation of Financial Communications materials and tactical Media Relations work for each Quarterly Results Release cycle, and supports the Corporate Reputation management efforts as a member of the GLobal Communications team.
Responsibilities
• Work with Global Communications team members to support media relations outreach and tactics for each Quarterly Results cycle, as well as media and thought leadership opportunities for the Chief Financial Officer throughout the year.
• Draft news releases, key messages, and Q&As to leverage with media and other external audiences in support of our Corporate and Financial priorities.
• Support the development of Corporate Reputation efforts, including developing brief on emerging issues, building key messaging, and supporting execution in a timel manner tied to key issues in play.
• Support the delivery of communications (talking points, speeches, letters) of the Annual Reporting results cycle and Annual General Meeting.
• Build and execute proactive and reactive strategic communications working with stakeholders to protect the company’s reputation and manage active and emerging issues.
• Support the Global Communications team’s in maintaining strong governance across reputation efforts, including regular tracking of key issues, shared document repository management.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. Minimum five years of communications experience
2. 5+ years financial services quarterly earning experience
3. Proven project management skills.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, media relations databases, Cision, Factiva,
5. PublicRelay, LexisNexus, and/or other media monitoring and analytic platforms.
6. Experience providing communications support to senior leadership.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Distribution experience with Microsoft teams
2. Experience at a publicly held company preferred
