Typical Day in Role:
• Leading the QA team
• Creating and Maintaining Test Plans: Develop and maintain test plans, outline the scope of testing, test case selection, and testing methodologies
• Managing testing activities- More hands-on, involved in the actual testing process
• Defining and Managing QA Processes: Establishing and implementing quality standards and procedures for effective QA practices
• Risk management- Identify potential risks that could affect the quality of the software or delay its delivery
• Support, troubleshoot and maintain ABMs in lab
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Looking after access privileges
• Ensuring the smooth functioning of ABM’s
• Ensures all testing scenarios are documented in a central location
• Work closely with the Development Team
• Create test strategy and design walkthroughs with test, development, and architecture stakeholders
• Test and support manual testing
• Provide advanced level test environment and data conditioning setup for end-to-end verification
• Coordinate the promotion of code from one test environment to another
• Work with team as needed to test defects and issues raised
• Help with any general team asks
• Reports concise project updates
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 8+ years’ experience as a QA Test Lead
2) 8+ years’ demonstrated experience leading test strategy, test cases
3) 5+ years’ experience as a system or network administrator
4) 3+ years’ experience with ABM/ATM lab setup and management
5) Experience in an Agile environment
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) 3+ years’ experience with ABM/ATM and CRU experience on Diebold Nixdorf a strong asset
2) Experience with automation testing on tools like Eggplant
3) Experience managing hardware for customer facing self-service kiosks
4) Experience troubleshooting and testing ABM/ATM hardware components
5) Experience with Jira and Confluence
