Typical Day in Role:
– Stand-up Meeting, Sprint planning, test scheduling and test execution
– Testing as per the Acceptance criteria defined in user stories
– iOS / Android App installation using XCode / Android Studio
– Validation of client side and server-side error messages, requests / responses through Charles Proxy
– Create Test Strategy, come up with Test Device Matrix and review with program team
– Execute test scenarios, scripts, or procedures
– Exploratory Testing, Backward compatibility testing
– Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
– Validation of API endpoints using Dynatrace
– Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
– Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
– Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
– Create or maintain databases of known test defects
– Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 5-7 years of hands-on Testing experience with both Native iOS & Android mobile and web apps
2) 4+ Hands on experience with digital trading platform testing [Quotes, Equity, Options, covered and uncovered calls and puts, Option strategies etc.]
3) Experience in Wealth Management Domain specifically in Trading is a must – Portfolio management.
4) 2-3 years Automation testing experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Experience with order management and trading applications in the equity brokerage and understanding of trading application
2) French testing experience
3) Native accessibility testing using JAWS Screen Reader + Screen Magnifying tools (all mobile testers run accessibility testing and work with team on developers)
4) Recent relevant Banking Industry Experience

Education:
– Associate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
– ISTQB certification an asset
Best VS. Average Candidate:
– Recent experience testing Mobile Applications – iOS & Android
– Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans/Test Strategy, scripts and test results reports
– Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
– Automation experience
Candidate Review & Selection
– Microsoft Teams – Video Interviews (1 technical panel IV with the team) – 45 minutes
– Technical Assessment: Will be directly asking questions based on the resume / skillset in the job description; write some test scenarios
