Typical Day in Role:
• Respond to user queries, triage requests, and debug reported issues to support day to day functionality of Murex FXO system from front to back
• Gather requirements, develop test plan, and support delivery for prioritized enhancements
• Consistently communicate with multiple stakeholders including front facing users, downstream, and vendor contacts to coordinate ongoing work
• Support ongoing maintenance of JIRA and ServiceNow spaces and contributing/ensuring BAU documentation remains up to date
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
– 10+ years as a BA/BSA/Analyst
– 3+ years recent Capital Markets experience including front-to-back-office workflow (Trading, Risks, Back Office, Regulation, front office)
– 3+ years’ experience conducting BAU support for capital market users, working with users, triaging issues & coordinate resolution with multiple teams, and requirement gathering.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– MUREX (preferred) or Wallstreet experience is a strong asset
– Databases: MS-SQL is a strong asset
– Experience with FX
– Unix/Linux Bash scripting experience is an asset
– Experience designing, developing, and implementing ETL tools

• The candidate must also possess good analytical, problem solving and communication skills, and be able to interact efficiently with other team members and the user community. The candidate should also be a quick learner, self-motivated and results oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong aptitude to work with multiple teams in a fast paced environment
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as finance, commerce, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related field required
