We are seeking a versatile professional to join our high performing team in Global Wealth and Asset Management’s Data Office. This is a hybrid role offering opportunities to work with the latest technologies and provides growth and exciting challenges across a wide array of business areas. We require a candidate with expertise in Power BI, Python, SQL, Spark.
The responsibilities are divided equally between data engineering and Power BI development:
– 50% Data Engineering: Utilize your skills in Python, SQL, and Spark to support various data engineering projects, ensuring robust data pipelines and efficient data processing.
– 50% Power BI Development: Leverage your Power BI expertise to create insightful, interactive and visually appealing dashboards, providing valuable business intelligence solutions.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 5+ years proficiency in Power BI: Advanced knowledge of Power BI for creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
2. 2+ years’ experience in Data Modeling: Expertise in data modeling, including the creation and optimization of data models to enhance performance and usability.
3. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Strong command of DAX for building complex calculations and aggregations.
4. Power Query/M: 5+ years’ experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.
5. SQL: Ability to write complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation from various databases, minimum 5 years’ experience.
6. ETL Processes: Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools to integrate data from different sources.
7. Programing language: Proficiency in some programing language like python (Understanding of data types, variables, loops, conditionals, and error handling. Familiarity with Python's standard library and commonly used modules.)
8. Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
9. Project Management: Experience leading BI projects, including planning, execution, and delivery and managing/maintaining the project backlog with stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills:
1. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or relevant Power BI certifications to demonstrate proficiency and expertise.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree required. Preference for degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field.
