Primary Manager: Senior Manager, Engineering (Personalization MarTech)
Story Behind the Need:
• Business Group: Canadian Banking (Retail) Engineering
• Project/Initiative: Large-scale enterprise-wide project to accelerate personalization capabilities across our MarTech stack. This role will be sitting within the Engineering function of an agile Project Squad helping identify business needs and translating them into technical solutions across multiple stakeholders.
Typical Day in Role:
• Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements and turning them into use cases, business rules, user stories, sequence diagrams and process flows
Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
• Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
• Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
• You will be directing day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with our risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits and communicate it throughout the team
• You will create an environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to risk and compliance
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 8+ years of previous experience as a Business Analyst, experience in large enterprise organizations, FI preferred
2. 1-2+ years of experience with planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancement
3. Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of end-users.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with Adobe’s MarTech offering Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and it’s associated products and solutions: Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Offer Decisioning, Adobe RT-CDP, AEM, etc.
Experience with Jira/Confluence

Education
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
Candidate Review & Selection
• One interview with the Hiring manager – 30 minutes – to make sure the candidate has the right attitude and culture communication.
• 2nd Panel interview with a technical peer and teammates – 30 minutes – Business Case 15 minutes presentation.
