Communications Specialist
Typical Day in Role
• The contractor will be given a list of material to work through and will need to connect with their report to with any missing/outstanding info
• Working through current training material to ensure information is accurate and relevant
• Ensuring training links are correct and branding are up to date
• Scheduling training calls and meetings with the appropriate contacts
• Facilitating training calls for a large group of employees
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 1-2 Years Experience as a Communications Specialist (or similar position)
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Experience with Adobe Standard (familiar with converting files)
• Prior SharePoint Experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Bilingual English/French
• Prior Banking/FI Experience is an asset
• Knowledge of Estate and Trust planning
Soft Skills:
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• ability to work independently
Best vs Average: the best candidate would have knowledge of banking and be comfortable speaking on large conference calls
Degrees or certifications:
• Post secondary education
