Story Behind the Need
Business group: Regulatory Data Governance (OU20015089)
Managing governance ensures the right governance is in place providing support to business lines and business processes
Initiative: DRAP – On board and provide support to Tier1 business processes ensuring they are following the minimal compliance for data governance which includes reporting and effectively managing their data quality issues. This includes onboarding, providing training, supporting complex business issues, and supporting data quality issue management processes and tools and leading working group meetings from stakeholder across the enterprise.

Typical Day in Role:
• The resource will support data governance activities onboarded through DRAP as well as support data quality issue management activities across the enterprise
• Support Data Quality and Issue Management (DQIM) activities and Data Governance processes with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Support user access management to Enterprise DQIM applications and Enterprise Dashboards and perform data analysis activities to support Data Quality efforts across the Enterprise
• Support all levels of reporting and dashboards via PowerBI and Tableau
• Performs data analysis and communicates results in support of data quality processes.
• Participates in knowledge transfer within the team and business units and identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; and recommending actions.
• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Assesses, researches, analyzes, and documents project needs and outcomes by selecting the appropriate information gathering and/or modeling technique to elicit requirements.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 8-10 Years of experience working as a Product owner.
• 8-10 years of experience effectively collaborating with partners and stakeholders on Data quality initiatives (Technology, Visualization, Data Stewards, and governance groups)
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge and experience with GCP including Looker.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Financial Industry within data quality and data governance programs is an asset
• Post-secondary degree in Business or Master

1st round with the Hiring manager – Video call Ms teams 30 – 60 minutes – Talk about work experience and get to know (no technical assessments or business case required)
2nd round –Most likely in person with the Hiring manager and Director – In person for 1 hour- Talk about experience, behavioral questions, & technical questions.
