Technical Analyst – SCCM
Typical Day in Role:
• You will manage SCCM deployments to workstations, including troubleshooting failed installations / updates by remediating remotely.
• You will use a proactive approach to troubleshoot SCCM deployments, understanding reasons for failure in our complex environment, so automation can be leveraged.
• You will work with business line contacts spanning globally to set expectations, troubleshoot deployment issues, and understand requirements.
• You will test and deploy newly created or updated SCCM applications across our DEV/UAT/Prod environments and provide feedback to internal teams.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Reporting to Senior Manager.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 8+ years of working experience as a Technical Analyst
2. 3+ years of working experience with Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), including creation of advertisements, collection updates, creating deployments, reviewing, and understanding of SCCM reports.
3. 3+ years of working experience troubleshooting SCCM deployment failures and remediation.
4. 3+ years of working experience with Windows Installer (MSI) technology and experience creating MSI/MST/MSP installers using: Flexera AdminStudio (preferred) / InstallShield products
5. 2+ years of experience providing IT support for Windows10,11 OS, familiar with tools including: RegEdit, MMC, PSTools, ProcMon, TaskSchd, EventVwr, etc.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience creating scripts/automation using PowerShell.
• Knowledge on Intune VMware and Active Directory.
• Previous Banking/FI experience is an asset.

• Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills, comfortable communicating with many different groups: Packagers, Requesters, End Users, Vendors.
• Extensive SCCM experience.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
Education:
• University degree or technical institute degree / certificate, or from a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
