Technical Development Lead – Payments
Typical Day in Role:
• Work with engineers and architects to define work breakdown structure
• Coordinate communication and collaboration in a cross functional agile team
• Construct plans and identify obstacles ahead, plan mitigation strategy and maintain execution momentum.
• Be part of the discussion of every facet of the delivery activity including requirements, story shaping, architecture discussions, testing strategies, prioritization, etc…
• Plan for MVPs, convey progress & elevate success & impediments
Must haves:
1. 10+ years of work experience in Technology within the Financial Industry.
2. 5+ years’ experience working with Payments and Financial core banking domains. Knowledge of financial posting, settlement & account reconciliation.
3. 5+ years leading cross functional teams with the ability to track development progress and prioritize development tasks
4. 3+ years of experience working with diverse technology stacks including advanced ESB such as FTM, as well as legacy Tandem & Mainframe systems.
5. 3+ years working with FIS core banking product (e.g. Miser)
6. 2+ years of experience working with Enterprise Architecture, Program Architects, and Product Owner in breaking down the work into workable tasks
Nice to have:
• Work experience in a full Agile development environment.
• Experienced in large migration program involving customer and operational impacts, with preference in Core Banking
• Previous experience working with application functions internal processes.
• Strong Data Analytic experiences working with data sets from different domains.
